Born in Dumfries & Galloway, folk singer Davy Holt now lives in the Highlands of Scotland.
David started entertaining at an early age and turned professional at the age of 20.
Davy's music has been influenced by great Scottish groups such as Gaberlunzie and The
Corries, whose blend of patriotic songs, humour and the ability to hold and entertain an
audience are evident in Davy's performances.
Since turning professional in 2001 Davy has performed all over Scotland, working on the busy
Tourist Circuit each summer and performing in pubs, hotels and village halls throughout year.
